Saint Patrick’s Day is celebrated each year on the 17th March. It is both culturally and religiously celebrated in Ireland to mark the death of Irelands patron saint, Saint Patrick. Many will also join in celebrating in other countries, with festivals and in many Irish Pubs or Bars. Those who like to celebrate the day will usually wear something green or where a green shamrock to represent the Irish culture.

Many will celebrate with parties and festivals. Today, even those who are not Irish will join in the celebrations. It is traditional to drink the Irish beer; Guinness and to eat Irish themed foods.
